September sees 90 sold homes in Torrance with an average Price of $1,034,044Plaza Del Amo townhomes for sale

It was a really good month for home sales in Torrance and a great month for the sales prices.  There were 90 on market home sales compared with really impressive 102 in August.  It was slightly higher than the 87 in July and 89 in June.

The average “asking” price  was a very impressive $1,000,713 with the average sold price at $1,034,044 which was nearly identical to the average price of $1,043,586 in August.

Homes averaged $704 per square foot and the average DOM was a brief 22 before going under contract.

There Were 102 Home Sales in Torrance in August 2023

Last month was fantastic for both the number of homes that sold and the prices that they sold for.  There were 102 closed escrows in August compared with a very solid 87 in July and 89 in June.

According to Torrance realtor Keith Kyle with Vista Sotheby’s, August was the biggest month for the number of closed home sales since July of 2022.

The average “list” price  was a very impressive $1,016,187 with the average sold price at $1,043,586 meaning that homes generally sold well above the asking price.

The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold in August was $685 and the average days on market was an EXTREMELY brief 23 before going into pending status. Median days on market were only 11!

Solid Month for Real Estate in Torrance with 89 Homes SellingCoastal beach homes

After a few very slow months to start 2023, the real estate market in Torrance CA is picking up considerably.   There were 89 sold homes during June which was up a bit from the 80 sales in May and April but up dramatically compared with January-March.

Eight of the 89 sold homes were in the Old Torrance area.

The average “lising” price  was a very  $1,028,725 with the average sold price at $1,059,573 meaning that homes generally sold well above the asking price.

The average price per square foot was $665 and the average days on market was a VERY brief 20 before going into pending status.

Welcome to the real estate recap for the homes that sold in Torrance CA during March 2023.  Things definitely improved last month in termsWelcome home of the number of homes that sold well up from February which was one of the slowest months on record.  There were  80 homes that closed escrow during the month which was way up from 52 in February and only 46 in January.

Only 2 of the homes that sold were in Old Torrance (in blue below)

The average “list” price  was a very impressive $989,837 with the average sold price at $999,779 meaning that homes generally sold above full price.

The average price per foot for the month was $703 and the average days on market was 43 before going into pending status.
