There were 120 home, townohme and condo sales with a median sold price of $880,000. The homes that sold only averaged 19 days on the market which is pretty amazing! Well we set the clock back and the weather is cooling….but the Torrance real estate market is not.
While the real estate market in Old Town Torrance slowed just slighly in October, the real estate market in all of Torrance CA was once again a VERY busy in October. There were 122 on market home sales which is an extremely impressive number or the third straight month. The median “asking” prices of the homes that sold was $839,750 with the median “sold” price at $830,000 indicating a very solid “seller’s market”. The average price per foot was $545 and homes only averaged 19 days on market before going into escrow. If you’re considering selling your home in Torrance find out the value in todays market.

Pending Home Sales Really on the Rise in Torrance
Pending home sales just keep going up which means that the closed sales will follow the same trend line. July was the 4th straight month that the number of pending homes sales increased. July saw 132 pending home sales which was the highest number since August of 2019 that saw the same number. View the homes that sold in Torrance during July.
Property Sales and Home Prices in Torrance CA
July was a big month for home sales and home prices in Torrance and a big improvement over a very slow spring that was hampered by the impacts of the coronavirus. There were 106 homes closing escrow during the month compared with home sales in May in which only 46 homes sold due to the uncertainty of the coronavirus situation. The median “list” price was $875,000 with the median “sold” price at $866,000 meaning that most homes sold very close to full asking price. The median price per foot was $535.77.
Old Torrance had 8 homes sell at a median sold price of $717,450.

The One and Only Home that Sold in May – 2139 Del Amo Boulevard
As we’ve noted on our real estate recap, June was a nice rebound month for home sales in Old Torrance. Anything would be a good month compared with May which only had one home close escrow the entire month. The one home sale was a single family home on Del Amo Blvd that was listed and sold for $775,000.
