Take a look at the most recent home sales and closed escrows in the wonderful neighborhood of Old Torrance in Torrance CA.  See what is selling and what prices they are selling for.  It’s been a solid year in this Torrance community although things definitely seem to be a bit slow the last few months.  Some of that is seasonal and some is due to the higher interest rates but we’ll have to wait and see if things pick up a bit in 2024.

See the Homes that Sold in Torrance During November

Welcome to the real estate recap for the homes that sold in Torrance CA during November 2022.  Things continued to cool last month in terms of the number of homes that sold but home prices continued to impress.  There were only 61 homes that closed escrow during the month which was down from 76 in October and 86 sales in September.  Compared with the peak summer month of 112 homes that sold in July and you can see how slow the market was.

Only 4 of the homes that sold were in Old Torrance (in blue below)

Torrance Real Estate Update for November 2022

The average “list” price  was a very impressive $981,14 with the average sold price at $972,692 which was down a bit from October’s average price of $1,045,073.

The average price per foot for the month was $636 which was slightly lower than in October. The average days on market was a short 32 before going into pending status.

Welcome to the month that was for real estate in the Old Torrance neighborhood of Torrance CA.  September 2022 was a solid month for both the number of homes that sold as well as the prices that they sold for.  There were 9 closed home sales during this past month.

The median list price for the homes that sold during September was $824,333 with the median sold price at $804,000.  This meant that properties generally sold below full price.

2021 Year in Review – See All of the Homes That Sold in Old Torrance

Welcome to the year that was for real estate in old town Torrance.   2021 was a great year for home sales and prices with 130 homes, townhomes and condos selling in this historic part of Torrance.  The average list price for the year was$5751,000 with the average sold price being $769,000 meaning that in general homes sold well over what they were listed for.  It was definitely a “seller’s market”.  Homes averaged only 17 days on the market before going into escrow.
