The newest listing in Old Torrance is a 3 bedroom townhome in Park Plaza which is a smaller townhome community in Old Torrance. It appears at though they started to do some work but then stopped as the downstairs flooring has all been updated with luxury vinyl, but most of the rest of the home is original or could use some work….it could definitely use some new carpet or flooring on the stairs and upper level.
That said the two level townhome seems to be priced well at $825,000 given the last few 3 bedroom townhomes in the community have ranged between $875,000 and $945,000 since the beginning of 2024.

This classic Old Torrance home was remodeled and reimagined. The home has been expanded with a beautiful open concept layout making for impressive and bright spaces that open to the spacious private backyard.
The community sits just east of Wilson Park and just down the street from the high school but the interior grassy areas are peaceful and quiet. The 3 bedroom townhomes offer a fairly nice and bright downstairs including the kitchen that opens to the dining and living room. There are patios off of the front and back.
All three bedrooms are upstairs and 2 of the three (primary included) feature high ceilings making it brighter and giving it the feeling of greater space. Welcome to the month that was for real estate and home sales in the charming neighborhood of old town Torrance. There were only 3 closed homes during the month with the notable sale of 1542 Post that closed well above asking price at $1,705,000.

The average “list” price of the homes that sold was $1,364,666 with the average sold price at $1,291,817. The sale price being well below list price doesn’t necessarily indicate much with only 3 sales, but the market does seem to be cooling.
The average dollar per square foot for the homes that sold was $643. Days on market, or DOM, was a fairly brief 30 before selling and median days on market was only 18 days on market
